I collaborated with Public Opinion NYC on a video highlighting the exhibition “Give Me a Sign: The Language of Symbols,” which was on view at Cooper Hewitt from May 13, 2023 through August 11, 2024.

Known for their viral New York City trivia videos, as well as their thoughtful, long-form explorations on larger topics like infrastructure and community, Public Opinion felt like a perfect fit for Cooper Hewitt’s audience, as well as a great opportunity to tap into their highly engaged following. Public Opinion’s team created a video about common signs, symbols, and iconography seen around the city, and interviewed Emily Orr, curator of “Give Me a Sign.” The video reached tens of thousands of new accounts and represented a fresh direction for the museum’s social.
