Olivia Manno is a Brooklyn, NY-based writer, editor, and digital content strategist with a focus on visual and performing arts.

I have a knack for social storytelling and a proven track record of defining brand voices and identities, connecting organically with audiences, and utilizing social media in authentic, impactful, and unique ways.

I’ve directed social strategy for some of the world’s largest arts and culture organizations, and have served as a guest lecturer at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. My approach is holistic, collaborative, and data-driven—I believe in utilizing social media to bridge the divide between institutions and their audiences, platform important and engaging stories, and provide unlimited, unprecedented access to artworks, artists, and experts in the field.

My career began in the editorial field ten years ago, and I’ve continued to pursue writing in addition to social media—I’m currently a columnist for Dance Magazine, where I profile rising talents in the dance world. I’ve written about dancers from companies including New York City Ballet, L.A. Dance Project, Houston Ballet, and A.I.M by Kyle Abraham.
